Dual Enrollment Program

Earn full academic credit with our new dual-enrollment program, in partnership with Pacific Union College!

Many students will choose to take advantage of the incredible opportunity to receive full academic credit for a few SOULS West classes.  Our new dual-enrollment agreement with Pacific Union College means that students can receive academic credit for up to 6 units per year.  Since all SOULS students will be taking these dual-enrollment classes, it represents no extra classwork.  The cost to receive full academic credit for these six units is nearly 90% off PUC’s normal rate!  Contact office@soulswest.org for the current price.

1)   Send a copy of your official high school transcripts to office@soulswest.org. 

2)   Be prepared to pay the additional amount at registration, which SOULS will then forward to Pacific Union College on your behalf.

Below is a letter from Dr. Jim Park, who periodically teaches brief, intensive classes at SOULS West.

 

Dear Parents and Sponsors,

My name is Pastor Jim Park, PhD, and I am the Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Volunteer Director of the Pacific Union Conference. Within that capacity I have been actively teaching and supporting the ministry of Souls West for a number of years.

For some time SOULS West and Pacific Union College have been developing a wonderful opportunity for the young people who participate in the SOULS West program to receive college credit for the courses they take as part of their training program.

Under this arrangement, students would receive 3 college credits for courses they are already taking during the year. Currently we are planning to give four such courses over the two-year program which would result in a total of 12 credits. These credits are recognized by all schools of higher education and can be transferred into any liberal arts program.

To take advantage of this dual-enrollment program with Pacific Union College, the students are required to pay dual-enrollment tuition, which is a 90% reduction in the regular tuition price. This additional investment in their future would certainly be a blessing.
