What is SOULS West?

SOULS West is a Seventh-day Adventist outreach leadership training school operated by the Pacific Union Conference. It is a school designed to train Adventist young people for service and leadership within God’s church in whatever line of work they are called.

At SOULS West we believe in a wholistic approach to education. Over the course of the two year program students are able to gain experience in mission service in all 7 conferences across the Pacific Union Conference. In addition, staff and faculty help students focus on education and development in three main areas:

The Hand

Students gain practical experience such as:

  • Hands-on meal preparation

  • Personal time-management

  • Bible work practicums

  • Leadership opportunities

  • Local Church involvement

  • Magabook leadership experience

  • Public Speaking

The Head

Students are instructed in biblical topics and taught how to share their faith in a winsome way through classes such as:

  • 28 Fundamental Beliefs

  • Daniel & Revelation

  • Salvation & Sanctuary

  • Hermeneutics & Homiletics

  • Publishing Ministry

  • Personal Evangelism

  • Small Group Ministry

  • Stewardship & Finance

Students are given opportunity for personal growth and spiritual transformation with:
